A crazed countess threatens to blow up London’s Tower Bridge in a matter of days; can three women stop her in time?
Eliza, Miriam, and Jillian are friends by fate, employment, and society. In the London of 1894, they receive a missive from their mysterious boss, Colonel Cuthbert, to investigate and stop the Countess Wilmont from her attempt to destroy the newly erected Tower Bridge.
Delving into a secret world of masterful training in martial arts, curious new technologies and weaponry, the women are armed and very dangerous. Eliza and Miriam's husbands are somehow involved, yet they can't figure out to what extent through the men's murder attempts. Along the way, the women meet three men who will change their world. They allow the strange men a rare glimpse into their covert plans and Silas, Devin, and Kane will make the ladies realize they don’t have to be alone, and that gentlemen aren’t always what they seem.
